Hill of the Angels

Sue’s  latest novel for young adults, set in the north of England during the 1640’s, was published in 2016. Hill of the Angels tells the story of Grace Fowler and Abigail Booth, whose friendship is pushed to its limits when Civil War breaks out.  Read more.

 

 Beyond Words

Sue Mayfield was Writer in Residence with Cheltenham Festivals and Gloucestershire Hospitals Education Service  from 2015-16, helping a talented group of young writers produce an anthology - Broken But Mending. Read more.  

 

Fresh Arts Festival

Sue Mayfield was North Bristol NHS Trust Fresh Arts Writer in Residence at Southmead Hospital for the whole of 2015. Her project Lifelines celebrated people, places and essential things  in fourteen-word poems.  See More   See More   See More
